delay...

To those of you who may be curious:

My photography days have been placed on halt for some time as Im sure you've noticed- for reasons I'm coming to understand.. within myself.. But good news- beside new bad news.. 

My Camera is broken.. YET happy day, pictures will be coming despite the fact through the use of my sisters camera.. that is.. if and when i convince her. :p

So if and when that occurs... I will post photos. 

I know thats not a promise of more by any means. lol

A Happy Blue Summer

I have had an incredibly Happy Summer.

Who reminds me every day, as well as on every plane ride, vacation and train station i take him to, that life is beautiful when embraced in bright bright blue.

I met my best friends little boy for the first time last Tuesday. Troah Miguel.  

And he instantly charmed me with his sweet little banter, "Come on Shaina." "Sit down Shaina." "Go to your room Shaina."

My favorite one is "Mommy's Delicious!" 

=p

Today, I got to do a small photo shoot of him. And just look at the 'cute' he radiates!

Troah belongs to my dear friend Katie, whom i've known since we were 15 and 14. 

She got married, had this handsome boy, moved a giant handful of times, and in all of this, I've seen her once and I believe at that time she was barely pregnant.

This month I'm staying with them in El Paso while her husband is away for some training with the Army. 

And O' what a grand time it's been! I forgot how easy it was to be around Katie, and how fun it was to have a girlfriend! haha.
