Our First Concert!

Wednesday night was epic!
It all began with the borrowing of my Ma's Cherokee, and we were off.
Meagan in the passenger seat, Jamon in the back and me behind the wheel, we listened to Ronnie Day, Cop Car by Forever the sickest kids, and Sister Sister by Train to get ourselves prepared.
Arriving at the Electric Theater is was empty and desolate.
So.. We went to Mcdonalds for my parfait.
Jimmy Johns for Meagan's #5 Sandwich, only to find out it was the #9 she should have had.
And Wendy's for Jamon's Double CheeseBurger.
And than.. we returned back to the Theater to a small line and Walla- the evening began with Ticket buying and cool wrist bands made out of paper that resembled a blue and white Atari world.

Our First Concert!!
We were a... little... excited.
And, it was awesome! I fell in love with Camera Can't Lie, giggled at the guitarist in Runner Runner, Became envious Of Carlie Wall and her perfect Pitch, and didn't meet Secondhand Serenade in his greatest of light....:S

Carlie Wall came on first in all her song writing glory and perfectly beautiful pitch. I saw this girl preform on Talent night In Jazzy Java in St. George earlier in the year and she was great! But now she's opening for hott bands? Congrats girl! Her written songs are very honest.. vulnerable if you will. I love that kind of music. And I give her kudos for sharing so much with her audience. Love her. :)
Jamon thought she was cute, so I took a picture of him with her.. and then turns out she has a boyfriend. haha. poor Jay. I'll post the pic later, as i don't have it just now.

Second came Camera Can't Lie
"Am I imagining, call me crazy.
For falling in love.
Call me crazy,It just ain't enough.
Baby, I'm crazy now I'm fall-falling after you."
Camera Can't Lie : Call Me Crazy
I've already written a recap on that event here
Check out every song they have. Jamon bought their Cd's and I don't dislike a single song.

"I'm losing my mind, broken inside
I want you to take my breath away
It's obvious that my heart beats for you"
Runner Runner: Obvious
They had a fan right upfront from the very begining.

Runner Runner knows how to put on a show and get the crowd going! We were jumping and head banging ( mostly Meagan and I just because we had to.. at a concert- once lol )
Their Guitarist/singer was a silly guy that just made me laugh the whole time they were on stage.

The entire band was so into the show that their was no lack in energy going around that Electric Theater.

Check out their Music Video for "So Obvious" It's a hoot.
I love watching Music Videos, but it's just funny now watching one after you've met the band and talked to their "personalities".
I have a bracelet now, thanks to Jamon that says Runner Runner- and i love it.
Also- I havent heard one song from these guys either that I dislike in any way.

And last, what the concert was building up to: Secondhand Serenade.
"I'm stuck here in this life i didn’t ask for
There must be something more,
Do we know what we’re fighting for?
Breathe in breathe out
And all these masks we wore
We never knew what we had in store"
Secondhand Serenade: Something More

Although- I'm still sticking with the fact that Camera Can't Lie and Runner Runner were my all time favorites- even though I adore every bit of Secondhand Serenade's music. He just didn't leave me with the grandest of impressions in the "meeting".
Not to mention that silly guy was drinking a Bud Light during his concert.
But...
I still love you John Vesely!

So the concert ended, we mingled mostly with Camera Can't Lie.. and then concluded the evening with In and Out delectable Chocolate Shakes. Yum. Yum. Yummers.

Love you people that read my blog.....Thanks Ma. haha.
